Term 1 Update
Here is the children's Bookman poem that they will be performing in the poetry slam!:
Bookman is powerful and mighty
His cape is magical and flighty
Bookman wears a mask and goggles. We’ve never seen his eyes.
He lives in Mr Webster’s office and jumps out in surprise!
Bookman loves sausages and bacon. It’s his favourite food to cook.
He likes to visit Eye Library to read his favourite book.
Bookman is our courageous hero. Here to save the day.
Reading is our super power to help us learn and play.
